Hey, we just launched Engadget Mobile this very morning
and so to welcome the site to the family we'll be giving away a cellphone a day for the next 30 days. This week you'll
have 7 chances to win your choice of a Treo 650 or a Treo 700w, to enter today's drawing all you have to do is post a
little something in the comments below and we'll pick a winner at random. Doesn't get easier than that, right? We'll
keep this first one open until midnight EST tonite and we'll announce a winner when we post tomorrow's contest.A few things:
1. You can only post once, if you post more than once you'll be automatically disqualified and barred from all future giveaways.
2. You can only win once.
3. We'll be shipping all the phones to winners once the contest ends (yeah, it bites to have to wait, but it's a lot easier for us and we're a bunch of lazy bastards).

I commend thee, for the overloading of cellular information into our brains. But if you could make some kind of a deal, where you just call me on my deliciously outdated cell-phone to announce how technically prehistoric I am (and to rub in the fact that I'm stuck in the 2-year contract that I got suckered into), then that would seal the deal.
But really, good job.
I think this is a GREAT STEP in the right direction for engadget! I am a cell phone enthusiast and its going to be easier to get all the latest info that much quicker AND easier to get everything else from the main site.
And what perfect timing to roll it out ... =P

This site is awasome. I just came from class, which was cancel due to the blizzard and Im on the engadget site and I saw that Engadget Mobile was out. I didnt notice that there is so many cell phone news on any giving day. Yes...cell phone news everyday...this site is going into my Firefox bookmarks.
Engadget Mobile, at last! Finally able to keep in touch with all the latest mobile news, all gathered in one place.

Love your site! Spin-ff site for cell phones only is a great idea. Anyways, I am dying to get a new Treo but am not eligible for upgrade for another 10 months. Winning one would be awesome. Thanks for the chance.

EXCELLENT IDEA! Separating all the mobile "talk" to its own site...one source for all the phone info (like the T-Mobile MDA and SDA most people probably dread to even hear about)...from all that other computer gizmo, gadgets and/or whatnots. The hardest part now is figuring out which one of the two I want as my homepage...decisions, decisions!
