Xero Mobile next to play the MVNO game

MVNOs, or Mobile Virtual Network Operators, are about a dime a dozen these days (there's Virgin Mobile, Amp'd, Boost, Helio, ESPN, Disney, Movida, to name just a few), but Andy Abramson says that a new startup called Xero Mobile has raised $300 million to take on Helio and all the rest. No word on what carrier's network they'll be using or what exactly will differentiate them from what anyone else is offering, but we'll keep an eye out for 'em.

Anyone remember the Ferrari Enzo krasch? Yes, the one with the former Gizmondo executive, former swedish mafia connected guy? Guess what? Swedish media is reporting that the Xero Mobile is their newest pet project. And yes, I said their, as his former partners seem to be involved as well. At least one source in sweden hint that the news about the 300 million investment may be plantet to attract new investors.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
Raised $300m already? Money down the drain....
You know how they plan to be different? Free airtime if you are willing to receive adverts on your mobile.
Xero plans to have 5m subs within 1 year, and generate $1.8bn EBITDA by year 3? all for an investment of $300m?
I guess there will always be investors looking for a get-rich quick scheme. This is not it.
On the other hand, if you are looking for a jumbo tax write-off then write to investors@xeromobile.com for more information.....
XERO Money for All!
Carl Freer and Stefan Erikksen are the two puppetmasters behind this XERO Scam using the other 3 pawns (Lilly, Clayton & Levitt)as frontmen in this one. $300 million raised....not. Interesting how they are running the new operation out of the old Gizmondo Smart Adds US office in Beverly Hills. Interesting too how Freer & Erikksen are living in Bel Air (3 miles from Beverly Hills) and show up in the office daily. I guess the Feds will be bustin' up another Giz scam, this time the pawns will go down. At least there is a lesson learned. Find someone else to take the fall!
Uh....put the Smart Adds IP up for loans owed, then start a new Smart Adds (XERO MOBILE) with the Ex head of Smart Adds? It won't be long till the Giz Shareholders are all over this one. The new bling will be silver bracelets for the XERO Pawns. Can you say DEPORTATION.

Xero Mobile will be an excellent company regardless of its passed. Their idea will revolutionize the industry in cell phone marketing. What else could you ask for? I dont know why you guys are all upset...in the end we will be saving money regardless...
Carl Freer joins Stefan Ericksson in jail!
'Impersonating an Officer' Charge Added to Bizarre Ferrari Case

A business associate of the man accused of crashing his rare Ferrari in Malibu this year was arrested today for allegedly posing as a police officer to buy guns.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies said that Carl Freer flashed a badge from an obscure San Gabriel Valley transit authority and claimed he was a sworn police officer so that he could purchase guns from a dealer without the required background checks. Authorities said he also signed documents swearing he was a sworn officer.
The detectives said they found 12 rifles and four handguns during searches of Freer's Bel-Air estate and on his 100-foot yacht Brigatta, docked at Marina del Rey. They say at least one gun, a .44 magnum, was obtained illegally and are checking on the others.
Freer, 35, was a top executive at a failed European videogame company Gizmondo along with Stefan Eriksson, who drove the Ferrari. Eriksson has been charged with grand theft, embezzlement and DUI charges in connection with the accident.
Both men were also members of the "anti-terrorism police commission" of the San Gabriel Valley Transit Authority, a small private company that provides rides to disabled people and the elderly in Monrovia and Sierra Madre. Both men were issued badges by the authority.
Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said that neither Freer nor Eriksson would have been allowed to purchase guns in the United States because they are foreign nationals.
"We have a wider investigation into who has given police identification by this supposed police agency," Whitmore said.
Meanwhile, detectives are continuing to explore why a handgun belonging to a reserve deputy for the Orange County Sheriff's Department was found at the Bel-Air mansion.
Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies confiscated the gun during a raid at Eriksson's home. Whitmore confirmed Wednesday that the .357 magnum Smith & Wesson was registered to Roger A. Davis, a Newport Beach businessman and deputy with the Orange County sheriff's professional services division. Davis also serves on Orange County Sheriff Michael S. Carona's Advisory Committee.
Davis was issued a permit to carry a concealed weapon by the Orange County Sheriff's Department in August 2002 for self-protection, according to public records.
The disclosure comes as Carona has come under criticism for his large expansion of the reserve deputy program, in which he has given badges — and in some cases concealed-weapon permits — to volunteers with no police training.
Why is this even a discussion. If you think that these confirmed Mafia connected blatant corporate ripoffs would let Peter Lilly, Rich Clayton and David Levitt take their Smart Add technology and start a new company without them behind it thenyou have to be an idiot. They would take you out in Carl Free’s 100ft Yaught and use all of the 12 rifles and 4 handguns and use them as target practice and feed them to the fish. XERO Mobile is Carl Freer and Stefan Erickksen. They both have been arrested this month, the SEC, FBI, Homeland Security, LA Sheriffs Department and US Customs are all breathing down their neck. They are history. Peter, Rich and Levitt better get out of dodge before they join them. Hmmm, sound like a great investment! XERO MOBILE SCAM HAS TO END!
Stefan Eriksson and Carl Freer are two business men (!) with roots in Sweden. They recently pulled one of the greatest stockmarket scams I ever heard of by manifesting fasade companies on the US stockmarket and attracting huge investments that were used to satisfy their leisure activities. XeroMobile is the new pet project of these two bright guys. Who, I have to add, are wanted in Sweden for embezzlement, robbery and extreme violence. Trust me on this, do not put your money in this company...
Great Job Guys, Xero Mobile's New office is at a rent an image building on the shady side of Olympic Blvd. A far cry from the hyped up architectual building you pitched or the old Gizmondo office. After checking documents, the same Officer Roger A. Davis who's gun was found in Stefan's house during the raid is the signer on the Corporate Documents filed in Delaware for the tri-fecta name change from United Telecom Intl,Inc. to Vision Mobile, Inc., then finally to Xero Mobile. Picked up the wrong gym bag? Don't think so, it is obvious as CEO and President of the UTI, Vision and XERO MOBILE, you know a little more than you are saying. It's time to get on the right side of the badge you falsely proclaimed to be on and tell the truth. Maybe then you will get some credibility. Probability is you will be wearing the same jewelry as your buddies though....Silver Bracelets.
