Motorola makes some of the most durable phones on the market (especially those produced for Nextel). I think the Q will be no exception. It would be very nice to have a phone that you don't have to worry about breaking just from dropping it a few feet (I am on my 4th Treo 650).
I am definitely not over the MotoQ yet, even though I did switch to Verizon some time ago in anticipation, and I am definitely going to buy one when it comes out. The only issue that concerns me is Windows.
I really wish that old Steve Jobs would release a Mac OS of some sort for smartphones. Could you just imagine the stability, convenience, and ease of use? A linux smartphone is another possibility that, for the life of me I cannot understand why, has not yet come around.
Hopefully the new windows mobile 5.0 and the MotoQ will be the door to smaller and better things for us smartphone users.
