More deets, carrier info on the iPaq hw6900 series

We
got our mitts on the highly-anticipated iPaq hw69xx's internal
HP spec sheet, and while we
knew most of the deets
already, we did spot a section listing the numbering scheme for the various carriers that will offer this phone. The
Cingular-branded version will be known as the hw6925 with camera and hw6920 without, and Canada will get the hw6945 for
Rogers with camera, hw6940 without. A few other tidbits that caught our eye were mentions of A2DP support (wireless
headphones are even listed as an accessory) and a feature that automatically stamps each photo with the device's GPS
coordinates. Overall, we're getting pretty excited for this Swiss Army Phone, and think we can get over minor
annoyances like the square screen and lack of SD/SDIO.
Is it just me, or is the cellphone giveaway comments section not working?
wireless headphones are great but then you can't use the sweet little cases for the ipod buds!
Could this iPaq hw6900 be the greatest PDA phone or is it just me want to be picked for the cellphone giveaway?
Looks like a real winner... I love all the features, but would like to sub out the qwerty for a larger screen.
I think it's too big to be a cell phone/PDA combo. Why can't they fit all that nicety crap into something the size of the HTC Apache or Treo? Couldn't HP shrink this a little bit? I'm sorry but I have a size limitation for my smartphones and the size of the Treo is about as big as I'll ever go. There are times when my bluetooth headset is not easily reachable. I wouldn't be caught dead by the LADIES holding up a big brick like this :)

GOOD NEWS ITS COMING WITH THIS WONDERFUL POCKET PC. THIS IS JUST SMALL PART OF THE BIG ICEBERG THAT IS COMING IN THE FUTURE
I would like to see HTC come out with a device that has a faster processor and more features like the HP, and maybe even include Seagates new 1-inch hard drives! I woulkd like to take a look at the HP and see what it has to offer compared to the Treo's or the HTC's.
Looks like T-mobile USA is left out in cold again.
I like the phone except for the mini SD card. What do I do with my SD cards, I've got 5 of them....
This device is what the HP 65xx should have been in the first place. Well, i guess its never too late. Hopefully, with the HP69xx and the 68xx, HP will finally be able to win back lost ground!
