Wow, I am one jealous American... but I'm ok cause at least USA dominates the olympics and that is better than a super... sexy.....five megapixel PHONE (drools a little)....right?
You really think that thing is sexy? I think it is pretty fugly - the result of trying to cram too much into too little a space. And what is with the dual flashes? A "light ring" would have looked alot better and allowed light to reach the subject regardless of angle. Oh well, to each his/her own.
I want 5MP, and I'm ready to buy...but I want it as part of a sync-able wifi mobile PC.
There's no need to be a jealous American... a friend of mine actually purchased his LG C960 (pre-bluetooth, etc...) here in the US. I didn't realize this either but if you go into any given "Koretown" (in my case here in Los Angeles), there are cellular phone shops that specialize in these kinds of Korea-only phones. I'm not sure what kind of premium they charge but I do believe that it is reasonable. For the C960, my friend was required to sign up for a 3-year contract with Verizon and paid about $300 out-the-door. It's a pretty great little phone and it really does look great and work really well. My opinion when I saw it in person was that it is one of the most well-executed camera/phone combos I've seeen. That said, I'm planning to purchase the new KG920 when it becomes available. If any of you are interested, feel free to email me and I can keep you posted when that happens.
You're really lucky then, because here in China, the same phone costs about $750 (with contract- about $12 per month) but it is worth every penny. I borrowed one from a friend and loved it!

Now about that TV tax...
great, now i can have my phone attached to my luggage, the only place it would fit! Americans are ready for this huge device, even if it did have that nice of camera!
