We know it's not going to come from one of the old walled-garden carriers-- they're network builders, consumer marketing oriented, and know little to nothing about software and the new open, social Web paradigms that will drive mobile data. I think Yahoo's got a real chance to lead Mobile 2.0 if they can put these new pieces together.
