Those new Sony Ericsson phones look all the same to me... seriously, if you don't need all that UMTS-garbage and can live with that great 2MP-Camera of the K750i, why would you go for this?

Dammit! I was just getting ready to buy a K750! Now I'll probably wait until the K800 and have an even lighter wallet...
#1 - You can apply that "logic" to pretty much every prospective purchase.
I for one would love the 3.2 MP camera, as I thought the camera in my K750 was "almost there" in terms of quality. I think 3.2 would really put it over the top. Also, UMTS is great and I'd like to have another UMTS phone in my arsenal.
Definition of insanity:
Doing the same thing over and over; and expecting a different result.

My contract is due an upgrade in 1 week, and i was going to get the N70 and sell it on ebay, and keep using my D500 as i got it through insurance only a few months ago- my K750 got swiped at the gym! :( Now however, im going to have to delay extending my contract until this baby comes out!!! Any one have an estimate for a release date?
If its a few months away, ill put up and shut up, and get the N70 to sell. I upgrade every year on the same day, and i dont want to extend this by another few months, as i look forward to my 'delayed christmas present/ early birthday present upgrade!' (HOW LAME I KNOW!)
Apart from this baby, whats the SE Slider ive heard 'tit-bits' about? Cant remember where i read the interview with a senior SE employy, probably here, but it sounded like a 'gem' with a super cool slide/ twist/ flip design i think it said!

Should be on sale at least in scandinavia about april.
I really am only into SE phones and in a few months I'll be needing a new phone and camera. With SE's technology building up, I should be in a good position come August. :)

WOW! I can't wait to get my hands on that!!! Now if they only make it quad band and UMTS capable for the US market (Cingular) I'll be all over it.

I was all geared up to buy a w810i when it came out now i'm going to be wondering if this little beauty will carry the 850 band.

Is this quad band? If not it will suck.
SE is really going with the Sony branding. I have a feeling all their future phones will be either Walkman SE or Cybershot SE, save for those lowend models.

I love my W800i and this may be my next phone! Now I can only hope there is going to be a "Walkman"-branded, quad-band GSM, & tri-band UMTS version of this phone (what the W810i is to the K750i) available later this year...
Sony Ericsson is going to officially debut more phones this coming Tuesday. One of them is supposed to be a new slider model. SE's latest phones have really been a couple steps ahead of the competition in terms of integrated design and features. They're UI is by far the best, Nokia coming in a close second.
If this thing is quad-band it is my next phone.
MSmicro?! Meh, I guess that's what all the new SE phones will be using. This phone looks sweet! If the optics are an improvement I might just have to upgrade to this phone. I really do like the convergence idea for a camera & a phone.

This is the first SE phone featuring the SONY(SE's mother company) Cybershot camera, It's pretty great move for SE from previous WALKMAN phone( A huge success), and now CYBERSHOT phone, and I expect that SE's new focus on imaging field will also as success as walkman phone, soon SonyEricsson will beat Samsung & climb from World 4th place to Top 3 just a foot behind Motorola & Nokia! Nowadays Nokia's & Motorola's design getting worst & worst, and Samsung still using that old outdated style in their design but SonyEricsson design is getting better & better!

Hey guys I bought this phone recently from a vodafone shop.I have this problem.The LCD screen doesnt turn off.It was on even when the screen saver is turned on.Please someone tell me how to resolve this problem please.If possible give me instructions to do the settings please
