Leaked pictures of HP's XDA Atom rebadge, the iPAQ rw6828
We've been hearing plenty plenty about the
iPAQ rw6828, HP's rebadge of the XDA
Atom, including an inadvertent leak to HP's website and a few blurry pics here and there, but now we're finally
seeing some decent pictures of the phone surface. Not that there are lot of surprises, it's basically your average XDA
Atom, but they do mix up the face look a little bit. Otherwise it appears to be the same old QVGA display and 2
megapixel camera -- which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Now that it's HP-badged, instead of that crappy limey brand, I feel it's worth buying.
hmmm looks pretty sleek.... but i still like the atom design... :P
HP should have been a litle more adventurous. They should have made their own pocket pc, and stuck it with the Qwerty keyboard. This would have been a killer, esp if it was still the same relative size as the atom. I guess they'll get it some day.

... Do remember that XDAs are made by the same company which makes the MDAs, the the Qteks... HTC, aka High Tech Computer Corp.
Whichever model you buy, you're still buying something which is made in China. Sorry to disappoint. ;)
In fact you're completely wrong Christopher (assuming we can leave out any sort of "One China" debate here). HTC builds all their products at their factory in Taoyuan City, Taiwan . Taiwan's government has authorized HTC to invest in China but thus far they haven't moved any production to the mainland.
You're welcome to prove me wrong if you can find an HTC device that says "Made in China" under the battery. If you do, I'll be calling my friends at HTC to ask when I can tour their new factory.
