ImCoSys to debut Linux-based GPS phone
Swiss-based ImCoSys is going to be
busting out a new GPS quad-band GSM phone at CeBIT next month. The phone runs on Linux and also sports 802.11b WiFi,
Bluetooth 1.2, a QVGA screen, and, of course, GPS. It also, strangely, features a RS232 serial port for doing whatever
kids are using their serial ports for these days. The device should be available to resellers in June for around $350.

Now this is interesting... phone, wifi, gps! You don't find these combinations very much in phones.
And at a reasonable price to boot!
Qtopia?
What's to be offered next week? Thanx in advance.
I love the possibilities that a Linux phone opens up. I just wish they would make it a bit more sexy. I would also be concerned about battery life.
very nice
I use serial console to get into servers on a regular basis. I would dig a linux phone with a serial port. I could use a better looking device though.
