Motorola has just introduced a
bare-bones clamshell, most likely intended for bulk business purchases, whose key selling point is its Bluetooth
wireless functionality. The V195 has few notable features besides Big Blue- it's pretty much your standard quadband
GSM/GPRS flip phone- but the external display (albeit grayscale), Push-to-Talk, and 10MB of storage are nice touches.
Sporting either dark pearl gray or cosmic blue duds, this model will make its debut sometime in Q2; price hasn't been
announced, but we're betting it ain't much.
Here's hoping they make it as reliable as possible.
Their "low-end" models = UH OH MOTO
This is great..
If they do this right, they could be the best phone from Moto in a long time.
Businesses don't want cameras and all the useless crap thrown in a phone. A good, solid, basic phone would be a best-seller in a business market.
But, again, it's Moto, so it'll probably fall apart in a couple of weeks.
