Vodafone unveils mystery TV swivel phone
It's pretty hard to glean any details from the machine translation, but it doesn't look like there's much info
out about this new Vodafone swivel phone anyways. The
Digital ARENA article mentions Vodafone's new 904SH, which has a VGA
screen and a whole different kind of swivel, but we're not really sure how that device is related. We do know (based on
the antenna in the pics) that you can watch TV on this fashionable number, and that it has a 2 megapixel camera. We hope
we'll be finding out more before too long.

What a butt ugly phone. If it's Vodafone's own design, I wouldn't be surprised.
I believe that's a Sharp model that has some kind of TV service. I forgot what it was called. Check around on the mobile-review forums.
its vodafone's first i believe phone with wansega(one seg cell) service. its a digital broadcast service in jp. docomo is already using it
Well, I don't have an appropriate translation for "One seg" or "Wanseg" yet, but its definitely a prototype!
The title of the original version says it's an idea.
Meaning could be "One segment" or whatever. It will be part of the new cycloid models.
I don't really see a purpose or need for a phone of this sort. The design/ergonomics of it must be hellish.
