The high end ones are better, but most consumers are incredibly cheap and don't want to pay more than $99 for a phone. It's seen even in the lineup Cingular has had, the z500 and z520 suck, the s710 and w600 were good, but had some stupid limitations and were incredibly slow in the menus. Nokia's last for years, get great signal strength, are easy to use and you don't have to pay an arm and a leg to get a good quality phone.
