We got a chance to play with the new
BenQ-Siemens DVB-H
handset we told you about last week. Looks like those DVB-H boys are finally getting the hardware
manufacturers to create devices that bring those 10 second channel changes seen in trials down to a more respectable
3-4 seconds. Better, but the standard allows for less delay. Though it's not clear by looking at it, this handset
doubles-up as a Linux-based phone we were told although we shudder to think about what that screen will look like
pressed hand-to-cheek all day. Anyway, it's just a prototype still and won't hit production status for several months
yet. For what it's worth, we also caught a peep of this under glass over at T-Mobile. More pics after the break.

digicam!

power and USB apparently.
This runs Trolltech's Linux-based Qtopia.
That's the good thing about bluetooth, you don't have to hold it to your ear, in fact unlike regular phones you can talk AND use the phone to look up numbers instead of going "Yeah, hang on.....beep...beep...one minute...beep.beep...still there?...beep...beep....here's the number....uhhh....###.......uhhhhh.....####"
So does it run on Linux? and does it have portrait mode?
