Live from CeBIT: HTC Wizard vs HTC Hermes

We were passing by and thought, hey, let's see if we can get the HTC Wizard / T-Mobile MDA stacked up next to the HTC Hermes / T-Mobile MDA Vario II. I want it!!...I really like the infrared on the end vs. the side so it can more effectively be used like a remote control...plus all of the 3g goodness...I have already ordered an 8125 to replace my treo but it sounds like I'll be upgrading again soon for the other perks ...(mainly processor speed)

^^ 3G will do you no good in america, we use a different band then the rest of the world for 3G GSM.

I'm holding a Cingular 8125 in my hand as I look at these photos, and its suprising how VERY much its form-factor resembles the Hermes, as opposed to the MDA which looks slighlty cheesy and toy-like when you see it in person, and gives off a faint eau-de-Sidekick vibe. It will be interesting to see what Cingular's anxiously-awaited version of the Hermes ends up looking like - if we live long enough to see it released, that is.
