I'm holding a Cingular 8125 in my hand as I look at these photos, and its suprising how VERY much its form-factor resembles the Hermes, as opposed to the MDA which looks slighlty cheesy and toy-like when you see it in person, and gives off a faint eau-de-Sidekick vibe. It will be interesting to see what Cingular's anxiously-awaited version of the Hermes ends up looking like - if we live long enough to see it released, that is.
