Nature abhors a vacuum, so
frankly we've been a bit concerned about the dearth of Apple rumors as of late, half-expecting to witness some sort of
unnatural disturbance in the space-time continuum. Well thankfully Barron's Online has swooped in the fill the void
(you'll have to trust us- B.O. is subscription-only), quoting two Morgan Stanley analysts who claim that Steve and
Friends are hard at work on "an iPod with phone functions," which is naturally being referred to as the
iPhone. Morgan's Johnny Chan, based out of Hong Kong, speculates that
Apple may subcontract Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Hon Hai Precision for a role in the phone's production, while
another analyst proposes that Taiwan Green Point Enterprises may also get in on action. Obviously the details
here are super-thin (as in, we just gave you all the details), but there's been so much buzz about this fabled device,
that Apple's gotta be planning on putting a cell radio in
something, even if it's just an iSight. [Note: The

Yes, this photoshopper came out when the T610 was around. It's an old photo. Like engadget said, it is an old photo, they just don't have anything else at the moment.

of course it's photoshop look under the "0" button, you will see that looks like a long name and sony ericsson is very long, or it could just be something else

Actually, this says, "standard for stress-free syncing with your Mac."
And this, "is now () across", says "is now standard across".
If Apple was to make it's own phone, I'm sure they wouldn't go to SE.
They would do what most OEMS do, go to someone like HTC or Quanta. With the Samsung i300 it is a signal to the iPod's death. OK the i300 hasn't dented Apples sales yet... but when the price comes down and Apple has a 8GB nano vs a 8GB phone which does far more than a Audio/Video player. Apple doesn't really cut the cheese.
Apple has a large portfolio of software which could intergrate into a phone. Why not a hard drive based phone with OSX mobile? Why you could even use XSCALE chips. Come on Apple we all know iTunes and the iPod is the core business.
But please just don't get Motorola or Nokia etc to design it for you. The ROKR is well forgotten.
