Pics of Nokia N93, deets of unannounced N73
Dutch phone site
newmobile has more pics of the Nokia N93
cameraphone we spotted late last year, and more interestingly, details of another three megapixel handset said to be
the successor to the N70. Supposedly the N73, as it's being called
(sorry, no pics available yet), will add a million-odd pixels to its predecessor's camera, along with Bluetooth 2.0,
S60 3rd Edition, and a "very special stylish design,' along with maintaining the 3G and video calling goodness
found on the older model. As we suspected before, the N93 (successor to the N92) will sport Bluetooth 2.0, UMTS, WiFi, a QVGA screen,
and like all new N-series phones, S60 3rd Edition. Also shown was the 6133, which is just the US version of the 6131 clamshell introduced
last month, although as with the other two models, none of that vital pricing/availability info is known.

The clamshell dual-hinge styling of of the N93 is a big departure from the styling of the earlier N models like the N91.
The camera is a big upgrade as well. Going from a 2 megapixel (N91) to a 3.2 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens on the N93.
I just wish someone, anyone would let us know when the E60 and E61 will be out (in Holland / Europe). The end of my current contract is approaching fast, as is the end of Q1 2006 (when the E-series was supposed to be released). I'd like to get both phones in my hands before I can make a decision and sign a new contract.
I wonder which features North American providers will decide to cripple or exclude from service? I happen to be the proud owner Motorola V600 for two years with Rogers Communications (GSM). Not one picture or message containing multimedia successfully sent or received. Perhaps my next phone purchase will be put off for another two years. Sounds like enough time for Canada's only national GSM provider (Rogers) to catch up. I am sure the appropriate firmware or unlocking utilities would be available within' two weeks of a launch of such a featured device, such as the one pictured above.
Oliver,
accd. to Nokia, any day now....
"We are on schedule and we will begin the shipments this quarter and the first E-series deliveries will happen this quarter," said Nokia Enterprise Solutions division spokeswoman Maria Kellokumpu.

I am sooooo hot for the E70 !

to #1 - that n93 is the same form factor as the n92, and neither the 92 nor 93 i would really consider successors to the n91, the n91 was in a category all its own with the hdd and uniqe sliding-candybar style. other than that i think the popularization of optical zoom will prove to solidly justify the form factor of the 93, being that the extended lens casing can internally accout for the aperture required to zoom without awkwardly sticking out the back of the phone. and qvga resolution? i was hoping for better such as the current n80's improved resolution, and of course drooling over the sharp sh904's vga resolution. interesting to see what features nokia will continue to push in their phones with the new change in management... i was also hoping to catch a glimpse of possibly a successor to the n80? even though the n80 has hardly made a presence anywhere (still listed as not even fcc approved on the site in the US) i was greatly impressed with the feature set on that phone, and the goal's nokia was trying to accomplish with that phone in the first place (great connectivity (pnp)) also i would love to see the n70 successor. definitely starting to really like nokia's high end phones and with the advent of the next gen mobile processors and chips slowly about to be released, exciting to see how they will be used!
Engadget, we are now english and german also. NewMobile.com is the link. More langauages will follow. About the E-series, these will be available soon. E61 within some weeks, E60 within 1,5 month and E70 in May.

N91 (with HD) should be out on week 17.
J and MR, thanks for the info!
re: the N70, I think it's a fantastic phone with a crap screen. If Nokia can fix that 1 major issue with a successor then it will be a near-perfect smart-phone for people who also want a camera and multimedia functionality.
But the E60 or E61 is for me.
Nokia -- You gotta get slimmer on the phones. It's just that simple.
wow looks like an awesome phone! i would definitely want to watch mobile tv on it:D
but i don't understand all these features here http://www.cellphonestalk.com/cellphonenews/nokia-n93-cellphone.html
