We can hardly blame Motorola for milking
their incredibly successful
RAZR line for all it's worth, and
that sure seems to be their plan at CTIA. Today Moto is busting out a brand new musicphone RAZR titled the V3m, which
sounds to be merely a
V3i plus stereo
Bluetooth, with a microSD slot for up to 1GB of storage, and a 1.3 megapixel camera. We're not sure if the phone
features iTunes playback or not, but we can't say we'd miss it anyways. The CDMA phone is accompanied by another in the
W315, which sounds to be a no-frills clamshell, though we're low on deets and without a pic. Motorola is also bringing
out some new spring colors for the RAZR V3i (pictured), including dark blue, maroon and violet. We'll have hands-on
shots of these before long, so just sit tight.

OH MY GOD! Please put the male razrs in a separate cage. They are reproducing like rabbits!
"And what's this? A dead horse has landed in Motorola headquarters... BAI GAWD!! ED ZANDER JUST NAILED THE DEAD HORSE WITH A STEEL CHAIR! HAS HE NO SOUL?"
It's strange that the V3i hasn't shipped yet in the US. It's been out for like 6 months, no?
And the "m" can't come soon enough. The V3c's non-upgradable storage marks "c" for crap, dito for Verizon's UI.
Moto hasn't even officially released the V3i here in the US yet. One step at a time fellas, please.
Might have seen this coming as cnn.cn posted OEM dark blue and dark red v3i housing this past week.
Are you sure the V3m supports *stereo* Bluetooth (the A2DP profile)? Here's what the press release says:
"The handset is equipped with all the tools today’s mobile user demands: ample storage, stereo headset support, Bluetooth™ wireless technology[....]"
Notice that it doesn't say the Bluetooth is stereo.
Regardless, this could be my next phone -- if it can support Bluetooth DUN. I gave up on getting the V3c because of lack of storage card support and Bluetooth DUN.
Steve
The V3m definitely does NOT support the A2DP bluetooth profile. First the information on the Bluetooth qualification website does not mention the A2DP profile in the qualified profile list. Here's a link.

Second the Motorola press release mentions "Stereo Headset Support via EMU" not Bluetooth. EMU stands for Enhanced Mini-USB. So you must use the Motorola stereo headset SYN1301 which connects via a mini-USB port. Here's a link to the product sheet for the V3m. This is a different link from the one provided in the blog posting.

Phones are not just only for fashion. They are now having important role when it comes on communication. It’s amazing how a small object connects two people far away from each other. Engadget reports (via the consumer and retail research company NPD Group) that Apple’s iPhone 3G has moved into the top slot for U.S. domestic sales of cellular handsets. According to NPD, this is the first time in 10 years that Motorola’s RAZR handset has not been the number one cellular phone on the hearts and minds of American consumers. The shift seems to indicate that U.S. consumers are more interested in more complex devices that offer a wider array of features. A massive advertising campaign certainly hasn’t hurt Apple’s chances, either. Even though overall handset sales have fallen 15 percent since the 2007 Christmas season, Apple still must be happy that when it comes to taste making and trendsetting gadget style, they’ve still got it. Eventually – with more than a little help from Steve Jobs – America’s handset choices may truly be full-featured when compared with what customers in Asian countries have enjoyed for years. Yet when it comes to choices for things like short-term payday cash loans, Americans have a wide array from which to choose. With a tough economy and the approaching Christmas shopping season, some people will look for a little help until payday. When taken with care and responsibility, this payday cash can be a very useful tool, much like an iPhone.
