Samsung's SGH-T509 gets official for US launch
That 0.39-inch thick SGH-T509
phone from Samsung -- the slimmest candybar phone so far announced for the US -- just got confirmed today, and should be
available in the states this May. The phone features EDGE data, Bluetooth 1.2 connectivity, and a camera of undetermined
resolution. Samsung actually isn't spilling much info on this phone for as hyped up about it as they are in their PR. We
still know barely more than we skimmed off the FCC site in March, but it does look like this phone will at least be
making its way to T-Mobile users. Catherine Zeta-Jones will
be so proud.

On one of Samsung's sites lists the phone under Cingular, but there are no details

The phone doesnt look that bad. Motorola just came out with their new think Razor why other companies do not focus on other and new exciting ways to amaze us than just thin. We have one already we dont need another one. If u see in Europe the kind of phones they have overthere dont even match ours. They are more interested in satisfying the peoples need and not just their looks. I recently bought a Nokia 6260. Is bad cause no insurance comes with the phone, but other than that the phone has so many things to offer that it wouldnt hurt me to buy another one for $400 since i know its so good. All im saying is that America should coax its people a little bit more.
