O2 announces XDA IQ

Though it shares many of the same facial features as the Feeler, the XDA IQ (which is really just the HTC Tornado) will benefit from the Tornado's inclusion of 802.11b and EDGE; the rest of the specs aren't much to phone home about (64MB flash and RAM, 200MHz OMAP, QVGA display, Smartphone 5, etc.), so what we're looking to set this thing apart is price (unannounced) and release time frame (same).

Just a small correction: it's the i-mate SP5 ( http://www.imate.com/t-DETAILS_SP5.aspx ), not the SP3i ( http://www.imate.com/t-DETAILS_SP3i.aspx ).

Yea, the o2 xda's never really launch as 'must have' mobiles. However, the really interesting things about this are the two ports at the bottom.

They look like a standard audio jac (presumably with a bit extra for mic input) and an industry standard mini usb port.

if im mistaken, it still doesnt take away from the fact that,

ALL PHONES SHOULD HAVE THESE!!!

It's probably not a standard (3,5mm) audio jack, but the smaller (2,5mm) one. It's commonly used for handsfree headphones with microphones. It is very annoying but it seems that normal audio jacks can't handle the microphone input.
