Live shots of the HTC Breeze
Never ones to shy away
from living vicariously, we thought we'd share some more live shots of the HTC Breeze we
recently came across. Looks to be quite the skinny 'un, and it should give the Star Trek (pictured on the right) a bit
of a run for its money in the HTC-dominated Windows Smartphone world. We'd love some more confirmation about the
purported specs, such as a QVGA screen, EDGE and UMTS data, and what kind of resolution we might get for those dual
cameras (1.3 megapixels and VGA anyone?), but we guess this will do for now. Check the read link for some more pics.

If HTC ever wants to sell to anyone beyond the usual geek crowd then it really needs to work on its designs. The HTC Breeze looks dated and ugly.
There's a reason why portable devices like the iPod and the Motorola RAZR sell and it isn't because of their specs.
HTC Makes the best phones around, hands-down. Doesn't matter if it's slightly less physically-appealing than the Paris-Hilton-phone-du-jour.
I don't disagree that HTC make great value smartphones (though I think Nokia's latest smartphones, like the N80, have them beat in every department apart from price).
However, if they ever want to attract a wider audience then they need to work on their designs. Geeks like us might be able to live with such an ugly design, but the average consumer won't.
I hope they make some design changes to the upper part, especially on the back. The polished metal part looks quite nice though, in my opinion. The Typhoon, Tornado and Star Trek all has good designs - let's wait for the final version of this before the final judgement.
Oh, and thanks to Martin and all others who sent this in :p
