If you check the PowerPoint that I provided the link for, which is linked in your previous article on Crossbow/Photon, you will see on slide 55 that Windows Mobile 5.0 & Photon are both listed as "Platform RTM", while Crossbow is clearly listed as an "Add-On RTM". Obviously, a new Windows Mobile version release wouldn't be called an "Add-On".
I think it’s far more likely that Crossbow is going to be "Windows Mobile 5.0 Second Edition (SE)"
