Treo 700w coming to Sprint this summer
P.S. - Yup, that's the Verizon version of the 700w pictured above; we have yet to see any images of the Sprint-branded version.

The percentage of electronics at the end of their lives which were recycled.
The EPA found that the percentage remained consistent from 1999-2005. Even as recycling rates went up, the amount of electronics reaching end of life outpaced the increase, leaving the figure static. (source: EPA, July 2008)
Now that we've thrown 'em off the trail, use the form below to get in touch with the people at Engadget. Please fill in all of the required fields because they're required.
The 700w for Sprint is what I'm hearing (from CompUSA) is still planned to release as soon as mid to late May 2006. I don't think Wifi is a part of the package, but increased memory (128 MB) and 1.3 pix camera is. I haven't heard if EVDO high speed connection is a part.
I have found informant of HP's Ipac MSm 2003 one of the most powerful programs I have ever used in a mobile device. I hope the Treo 700w can come somewhat close to what this calendaring/contacts/alarms/notes/tasks program offers.
Making Palm more compatible with MS programs sounds like a smart move to me.

Why must you torture me cruel world!!!!! Honestly I have wanted to get in on the new Sprint fair and flexible the night and weekends hours starting at 7pm, but I also want to get a Treo, so my dilemma beings there the night and weekends starting at 7pm I believe only goes through the 21st of May so if I get that and god willing the Treo 700p comes out the 28th, I will have to agree to a new 2 year contract at the old 9pm time to get my ?rebate?. So I have been trying to find out from Sprint if I did renew my contract now if I could hold on to that time when I get a new phone the week after, well no one there has giving me a straight answer. And now we have this, I don?t know which I would prefer more the 700p or 700w, I have worked with the 700w and I have to say I like the interface for the most part. AaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Where the fuck is the GSM version. I mean seriously (as opposed to fake).
Now you can get sprint for a $10 charge with unlimited nights and weekends starting weekdays at 6 PM to 7 AM. Sprint appears to be the best value for shared lines, lots of minutes and perks today, with cingular/att the best overall coverage. I'm not sure about add'l charges for the Treo though.
Nodnetni. Just sign up before the 21st, get a different phone, dont send any rebates in for it or anything like that. When the treo comes out, you're still within 14/30days, go to a Sprint store and say that you dont like your phone and would like to change it for a Treo. They'll do it, and you'll be set.
"So I have been trying to find out from Sprint if I did renew my contract now if I could hold on to that time when I get a new phone the week after, well no one there has giving me a straight answer."
That's because customer support sucks at Sprint and Cingular. I guarantee that if we had a race, your Sprint and my T-Mobile, that I could get all my questions answered quicker and more accurately. It's this reason alone that I don't leave T-Mobile. Maybe they don't release phone records to the NSA, surely there phone options are lame, and they don't have a high-speed data connection, but there CS kicks booty. But wait, I hardly ever need CS but I WANT high-speed data and nice, "supported" phones. Maybe I should switch....
Based on my experiences with both Verizon and Sprint, Sprint is a better deal for most people. The coverage is not really an issue in most cases and they offer an all-digital network as opposed to a mixed analog/digital service with Verizon. The rates and customer service beat Verizon's any day. Can hardly wait to switch my Treo 700 over to Sprint from Verizon, even if it costs me a lot extra to do it.

For the Sprint Palm Treo 700w, will i be able to purchase the Palm SD Wifi card and use it to connect to my home wireless network and surf the internet on my phone at broadband speeds? Would I have to disable EVDO before/during/after connecting to the network to be able to do this? Will I be able to make/receive/talk phone calls while connected to the internet and surfing on my phone? Will the connection to the internet through the sd wifi card stay online even if the connection is idle for example 1 hour?
