I don't see what makes it so much more anticipated than other smartphones. I understand that its a bargain with that instant rebate, but the fact that it would be at 199$ is only known for a couple of days, and engadget was raging since its first announcement, so could please someone tell me whats so special to this. thanks in advance

Birki69

Comments on Get your Q now in "just 2 easy steps"

Ditto. The MDA sorta sucks too, actually. Sluggish and only EDGE? Bleah.
I'm keeping my XV6700, though.
'sides, the "bargain" discount doesn't count for jack once they smack you with the $45 a month for internet access. Ah well... It felt like they had a broken link in their cluster chain. Random errors at different times, and it was just plain slow throughout. But, I was able to break through close to midnight PST.

And as for the hype, I got caught up in it. I've heard too many good things about EV-DO and WinMo 5-O (shocking, yes) to pass up a moto-designed slim phone with a qwerty keyboard (sick of the mispelling machine that is the bb7100 series), camera, programmability (word?) etc. We'll just have to see if I can figure out a way to use it as a blackberry device at my blackberry-only company.
