Does this uses a sandwiched layers of LEDs to get the 3D effect? If that is the case, you probably couldn't produce any substantial depth on this display, at least not enough to do any useful 3D effects... All it'd be good for is to create a little relief effect for top-layer 2D graphics. I can't see what this would be good for, except looking really cool.
