More live shots of the Sidekick III
Yet more live photos of the Sidekick III. Yep, we know it's out there, we know it's ready, we know when it's being launched, T-Mobile just has to get the damned thing out the door already. Until then we're just gonna keep on publishing pics because oh, how we lust after those things we can't have. By the way, Nice music player, Danger.

Also FCC's 45 day confidentiality restrictions on pics, specs and manual lifts today. So more things to drool over hopefully soon.
is it possible to get this unlocked to the cingular network?? cuz t mob gets horrible service where i live
Even if you did get a Sidekick unlocked, data services would not work, only phone calls and SMS would function. The reason is the way Sidekicks/Hiptops operate on Danger's backend service. ( www.danger.com )
Indeedio. Sidekicks require a specific APN to communicate (via an encrypted link) with the Danger Service Delivery Engine. So, only T-Mobile's (and one or two other operators) specific APN is allowed to communicate with Danger. Everyone else will just be headbutting the firewall. Even if they did know the specific Danger IP address.
As the above poster points out, everything but voice and SMS goes via Danger...
You could always get a SIM from Cingular to make voice and SMS calls when you're out of TMo coverage.
What's the word on screen resolution??
Screen rez still looks to be 320x240. Too maintain backwards compatibility with older apps as well, I don't see resolution going higher than 320x240 until the sidekick gets a complete overhaul.
Is there a definative answer on Bluetooth? (As much as I like holding a brick to my face to talk)
o alright if i had the money i would but i cant afford 2 Carriers right now
When will we able to see the Manual and stuff on the FCC site? The links connected to the filings aren't updated....
Golomb : the screen resolution of all sidekicks has always been 240x160. This resolution looks to be the same.
I really hope the resolution is QVGA 320x240. VGA would be awesome but the physical size of the screen would mean the pixels would be really small. Hopefully the user manual will popup on the FCC website today since it's supposed to be available today because the confidentiality request expired.
Yes, it has Bluetooth, and no, it doesn't have a QVGA display. The screen's the same as it used to be, unfortunately.
Korey:
You can just go to Cingular and get a prepaid (pay-as-you-go) SIM. Just pay them for a set amount of mins and you can use that whenever your service goes bad or something.
