You already know exactly what you're getting, people -- a 700w that runs Palm OS and has the 650's 320 x 320 screen. So don't make us drag this out any more than necessary: we're completing our pair of 700p package porn galleries with the Sprint device we just got. Enjoy!
The screen on the box cover, would indicate that it can stream video. (ie news station). Is there a Palm App included that can now stream video? This was one of the things that really is lacking right now on the Palms.
haha a dee dee dee forgot to black out the phone number on the box...anyways this phone is capable of Sprints Power Vision Services which does include all the channels available on a regular PV phone
#4: What you are referring to is "Sprint TV": a streaming mobile service to their EVDO phones.
It's available for an extra charge per month...I believe it's $10 to $15 extra...but unfortunately, that's just the entrance fee. Alot of the free content are just teasers or such. You then have to subscribe to many of the channels for an extra charge, usually between 3.95 to 9.99/mo. For instance, if you want E! Online, that's an extra 4.95/mo.
well it's a sprint internal accout for media relations so i doubt he'll use it for personal reasons but still an extremely careless thing to do, case in point here's the MSL 912501. Makes you wonder what else i got but i will never use my powers for evil... but i do want to warn that there are people who might not be so trusting so to everybody NEVER EVER give any kind of identifying info online
I was just looking around the web and the Blazer web browser can stream lots of goodies, like XM RADIO vis mini xm. God damn I gots to get me one of these. I am very seriously considering taking a risk by getting a new line by signing up for one of those "$99 700p" ebay auctions. I know some stipulations of the deals like that is that you have to sign on at a certain price plan level, but only for a month or two. Can you imagine unlimited n&w at 7 pm (200 daytime minutes) and sweet sweet unlimited EV-DO for only $45 a month? That's how much verizon charges just for data!
I guess this pertains more to the Windows based smartphones... but how much does Sprint lock these phones down? Can I add on any palm/winmobile program? Or do I have to go through them?
It's a cool looking phone, but I have to be honest in that other than some cosmetics, EVDO and a tiny bit more internal storage, it's identical to my 650.
If there were more to tempt me, I may make the jump. But even for a gadget freak like myself, it's not enough for me just yet.

fox news is live... almost
approx 30 seconds behind cable
also "live" include the nfl channel, fuse music, abc news, & fashion tv (why?)
two media apps "sprint tv" or "mobitv"

So the concept is neat, but the cost can add up.

To all the incredibly mature readers who were ringing the phone tonight, thanks, you're so totally awesome and super cool fun.
Best, Ryan
just curious what is a MSL number use for?
Dude, you need to show those thumb nails some love.
Ryan: So you've ditched the Wizard so that you can now match Peter?

( image #4 )That's just mortifying that you open the box and the first thing you see is some metrosexual Ryan Seacrest wannabe.

Cool unpacking p0rn pics.
ChrisXS, nah man, still have the trusty Wizard. Though the power of the EV-DO on this thing is beginning to pull me...
"Can I add on any palm/winmobile program? Or do I have to go through them?"
You can add any program you want. You certainly don't need permission from Sprint.
I hope this one doesn't automatically reboot every X minutes.... That was the reason I gave up my dear Treo and went with a Nokia E61 instead.
