I really really hope that Sprint either switches to GSM or Samsung releases this phone as CDMA. That's the big thing that annoys me about Sprint -- they don't always get the coolest phones because of friggin CDMA. Stupid Sprint.

ooglek

Comments on Samsung's Ultra Edition 9.9, 12.9, 6.9: World's slimmest cellphones launched

That clamshell and slider are in a word... yummy.

supes

Comments on Samsung's Ultra Edition 9.9, 12.9, 6.9: World's slimmest cellphones launched

I got the d900 from yesterday. It's all that and then some, pretty much everything you'd expect in a phone. There are two major issues though, 1st one is the call volume SUCKS! I can barely make out the other parties voice above a whisper, and this is with the call volume set all the way to max. The external speaker doesn't really help either. It does sound better when you use the attached headset but who wants to be restricted to wearing a headset 24/7 whenever you want to make or receive a call?
2nd issue is for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to add or move files to the 1GB memory card I added to the phone. The phone sees it ok too.
Anyway the call volume issue is something i cannot live with, and unfortunately I'm going to have to get rid of this one and go with a nokia (aaarrrrggghh).

stonelove

Comments on Samsung's Ultra Edition 9.9, 12.9, 6.9: World's slimmest cellphones launched

Stonelove: WHERE DID YOU GET THESE PHONES? I'm so ready to buy one!

john

Comments on Samsung's Ultra Edition 9.9, 12.9, 6.9: World's slimmest cellphones launched

I previously have used the samsung D600 and have just recently upgraded to the samsung D900, its awesome. The call volume is completely fine, the plastic cover that protects the screen also covers the speaker so without removing it, it's very hard to hear but once removed the sound quality has no problem at all. Depending what you want to move to your memory card it is fairly easy to move an item. The most common item to move to your memory card is probably a mp3. first go to the file named "music" in your file manager. Second, select the song in which you would like to move to your memory card and than finally under "options" in the selected song there is an option to both move to card or one to copy to card. I love the phone, its sweet.

KC
