"I received information from a source of mine and this kind of freaks me out. Basically Motorola has a new tracking system in all prototypes called M-Track, which will transmit all sorts of wonderful personal info on your phone directly to them. This includes, but not limited to: your phone number (obviously), SIM ID, location, cell tower, and more of the like. I understand the need to track prototypes, but c'mon Moto, some of us can't help ourselves. After all, what is better than going to the club and showing a hot girl your new unreleased Motorola phone? Nothing I say, nothing."

Software companies have been doing stuff like this for years (Adobe has gotten especially into it as of late) so it's not a real surprise. What happens when they find you? Men in dark glasses stand outside your house and wait to pounce?

saying you have the new HTC phone, duh thats way better.
I've carried a lot of prototype phones over the years, and I have to say that with the exception of the black RAZR, no one has ever been impressed that I was carrying a prototype phone. The people that were interested in the black RAZR were just excited because they were giving those out at the Academy Awards.
Am I missing somehting? How do you get prototype phones? How many EM readers know how to get these, or am I simply the non-prototype outcast.. :)
Boy Genius how do I get my hands one of these prototypes? hook a brother up...
I hear that they've already canned a couple of guys who were tracked back to unreleased phones!
