I'm also not partial to any particular US carrier, but here are some of the features I'd like to have: WiFi, GPS, good coverage in lots of places, push Gmail (a must!), physical keyboard (a must!), a touchscreen, decent battery life and a relatively slim body. Have been using this usb modem for a couple of weeks in Spain now, but having major problems. USB not recognising modem, but keeps trying to initialise modem, then states no sim card found, then says application is already running, then not connected to USB. I cannot eject the hardware, nor initialise the modem, when it was working it was very fast indeed on my laptop compaq v2000.
