One Riedel Vinum Burgundy with the stem broken off: $20. One 2002 vintage Nokia candybar: free on contract. MacGuyvering an alarm clock loud enough to wake your lazy ass up: priceless.

"I own an iPhone 3G and I'm looking for a decent speaker / alarm clock for it. I am going to listen music in a mid-sized room, so I want nice quality speakers with solid bass. I also want to use it as an alarm clock, so it would be great if there is such a feature. The price can be low-mid to mid-high range. I was looking at the Klipsch iGroove SXT; it's powerful, slick and the reviews are good, but it doesn't have an alarm clock feature. It's no deal breaker if I can set it up from the iPhone, but I'm not sure. Thanks!"

EngMo: At the expense of sounding coothe with your American Express farce, you failed to actually know what you are talking about.
Dosnt show much on your part!
Hey PEZ: It's Mastercard, not AMEX. Doesn't show much on _your_ part, does it? ;)
Make no mistake, folks, this is a lighthearted post. No research went into what model of Nokia is sitting in the wine glass. No apologies.

My friends and I got a laugh out of it, especially because we're all wondering if that'll really help us get out of bed... :)
