If they had actually bothered to call 611 to get that information, they might not have had any problems. If they did, and still had problems, I could deal. If not, the sympathy they're looking for is somewhere in the dictionary between s**t and syphillis.

That only started 7/05. Before that, there was an upgrade charge. And in the Western and Northeast states, you had to wait until you were close to the end of the contract to switch over for a while (between April 2005 and December 1/05).
