Here's the deal: I want a cool phone, like the RAZR, but everybody has a RAZR now. I was looking at the PEBL, the RAZR's quirky cousin, but if this lime green RAZR comes to the US I will totally buy it. I was hoping the RAZR would come in "louder" colors, like the PEBL currently does (my favorite colors are lime green and bright orange). That way, my cool phone could be uniquely me, too.
OMG...no more razrs!!! they are now (well, 6 months ago) the epitome of a tacky wanna be!
that looks like a razr v3c, not the regular v3.

I don't know if I could deal with having a phone in that color. Well, being on Verizon, I'll probably never see it anyways.
The razr went from being extremely over priced and now too something I wish would just go away. Everyday on the phone I hear from people saying am I eligable to upgrade my phone? I want to get the Razr, and everytime I think to myself WHY??? Yes its slim but its not that great and I bet people are even happier when they have to deal with a terrible UI and sluggish performance. I can't speak to much I walk around with the Sony Z520A which is also extremely popular, but the only reason I see the Z520A so much is because all the people I work with also own one. Everywhere you go someone has a Razr and normally all of their friends do too. I more or less wish people would just wake up and go beyound the boring hype that is the Razr. ERRRR
i think like adam said that it is important to note the v3c traits of this phone. like the original MS500, it has the dock charging ports on the back and the non-flush camera. just a note of course...
Well..lets see. I've wanted a razr for a while now...not because it's an awesome phone or because of any of it's specifics. Just because everyone and their mother around me has one. It's overpriced and there's nothing new or original about the razr anymore no matter what color they try to make the outside. I've had motorola phones in the past and have never been satisfied with the quality of my calls or the quality of my device. I've experienced dropped calls in the past and was told it wasn't my network, it was my phone...sure enough I get a new phone and have great reception. Good luck to all who get sucked into this razr "phase"
When the folks at engadget get that the Canary is not the successor of the RAZR?
The built quality of the RAZR is very good, the Canary is just a low cost sub $100 phone

The Canary is the next version of the razr. It's not an upgrade to the RAZR like th V3i, it's not a budget version...it's the next RAZR.
You might be thinking of the Moto W220. This is the budget razr. There's also another version of it with a camera, but it's still considered the budget razr.
The Canary is not a low cost sub $100 phone...the W220 is.

"It's" is incorrect, the "its" is the correct the 1st poster is wrong in their correction. It's = it is, trust me, that would not make sense in the following sentence. "even with its successor on the horizon...." By the 1st posters correction the sentence would read, "even with it is successor on the horizon..."

I own a V3i, much better than the current RAZR offered up by Cingular. I haven't any problems with ui and the slowness issues have been dealt with by the addition off a trans flash card. I keep hearing that Cingular has committed to this version, but I have yet to see it on their website.
I agree this is a pic of a cdma razr. It has a the megapixel camera.Could it be green for the cdma provider (crickett) ?
not to mention, it has a wierd headphone port on one side of the phone, convered by a lime green flap of course....wierd because all the oother RAZR's use the mini usb porrt for the headphones...i think this is possibly the prototype to the v3c, and unused model that they decided to throw away and these people got there hands on it somehow....if you acutal go to the website this is on(it is in korean by the way), you will see the headphone port.....also, they call it the LIME GREEN LAZR.....not even RAZR

lol... I'm hardly a tacky wanna be at work because I walk around with a Z520A with everyone else. IMO the Z520A is a better phone and its not pledged by a slow UI. The main point of my comment is the RAZR has been over done and I really don't think people know what they are buying. The only thing the Razr has going for it is the price and they only dropped the price because anyone that could previously afford it probably returned it. Have fun with your bag phone, Smelly Balls.

This looks like a V3m, not V3c. VZW changed colors on the V3m from gunmetal gray to silver with blaack interior, news is there's a pink in the works as well. This phone has a black interior and so far the only phone with that coloration is the V3m.
Ted, the pink V3m is already up on VZW's website. Its $30 more than the silver one.
Are those three gold connection points, on the back just below the battery door, possibly charger connections supporting some sort of drop-in desktop stand????
Just my opinion but I feel that the Razr is a good phone,it is my 2nd cell next to the ancient nokia block phone which dropped my calls alot.Since I got a Razr no drooped calls and not every has a razr.In ur carrier store does everyone say I want a razr,No!
It is a $400 phone not $100 that why they want u sign a 2 year conract.away my razr is a V3m from verizon is it a cooloo phone

I just freak with this color for a Razr! I just "got to have it now" The insides are completely black and glossy. I just looks so cool.

I'm 13 years old & my parents are asking me what kind of cell phone I want, once I saw the Lime LAZR online, I fell in love with it ever since and they looked into it on the internet and said that it wasn't out in the USA, & I told them that I wanted to wait 'til it came out. I searched Google and looked for pictures of the Lime LAZR and e-mailed it to 16 of my friends & 12 of them said that they wanted it so badly but not as badly as me. Well, I'm e-mailing you to suggest that even if the Lime LAZR has the same features as the regular RAZR, the color matters a lot to a lot of people like me for example! I would like for a represenative to e-mail me back as soon as my e-mail is read. And I am hoping that the Lime LAZR comes out in the USA soon. My name is Carolyn Tostes. One question... why the hell do you guys care if someone has a RAZR or not? It's just a cellphone? I happen to own a RAZR and I'll admit it doesn't have great features at all, but I never get dropped calls and I've dropped it several times the last 18 months and it is still in perfect condition. So please just take into consideration that IT'S JUST A CELL PHONE, and if you don't want one, FINE! But don't complain about other people having them, it's their choice to make, not yours.
