Somebody out there really loves us. An anonymous tipster just sent in a handful of pics of Motorola's impending followup to the RAZR -- formerly dubbed the
Canary, and now known by the nearly-unpronounceable series of letters
KRZR -- running on Verizon's CDMA network. Nothing here that we haven't seen before, but if you wanted a sneak preview of what this phone will look like in your hand as you watch all that wonderful V Cast swag, now you have a pretty good idea. Click on for a few more shots of the handset that Moto is hoping
another 50 million people will decide they just gotta have...
just get a sidekick 3.it kills all the other phones.
any specific dates this thing is supposed to come out? i hate waiting for something that wont show up for months
I thought KRZR stood for Curr-Zor (rhymes with cursor).
It looks cute, but why doesn't Motorola ever change the look of their phones? They (Motorola phones) all look the same to me. The specs are a bit ...ho-hum.
KRZR = Krazer like crazy but not... look for the phone sept 12th-19th ive heard a few diff dates around there. If you can change the color of the background like on the LG 8300 youll be set.
It is the KRZR K1m for CDMA.. the look is different with the touch buttons on the outside and the different materials on each piece of the phone... im excited
I'm waiting for the FCKR :)
This is obviously short for 'crozier', defined as 'a staff with a crook or cross at the end, carried by or before an abbot, bishop, or archbishop as a symbol of office.'
Yeah, Verizon ruins their phones with their proprietary software. So much harder to use, uglier, and less functional than the Motorola factory interface. I'll stick with my GSM phones thanks! Now if only we had some real 3G GSM data service in the USA...
I agree re: Verizon's lame interface. Motorola's is far better. But, Verizon has the best coverage in my area. My Blackberry is through T-Mobile and I don't get reception in the Subway or in my apartment- but my apartment is not in the Subway.
I want to see this thing live.
This phone will take the BC50 battery, RAZR Charger, etc. They added a cover for the data port instead of having the port exposed like on the RAZR.
VERY COOL PHONE. I OWN ONE AND AM VERY HAPPY WITH IT. IT IS AS SMALL AS IT LOOKS AND FITS VERY COMFORTABLY IN MY POCKET.ITS ALSO A LOT SMALLER THEN THE RAZR. I GET COMPLIMENTS ON THIS PHONE EVERY TIME THAT IT COMES OUT OF MY POCKET
ok, i bought this phone a few days ago, and it is absolutley amazing. its pronounced KRAZER, or KERZER, or along those lines. its extremely thin, and very comfortable, much more better than the razr. the battery does not go in the thick part at the bottom, but fits just behind the keypad which is also fairly easy to use. the mp3 has great sound both through the headphones and off the phone. the 8x 1.3 mp camera, is amazing. its doesnt have a metal coating, its just a mettallic color. the back is sort of rubbery, so its pretty cool. the worst part is the fact that u cant make an MP3 as a ringtone, also the fingerprints are easy to see but get wiped off, and it is very easy to scratch, so buy a case. (i got mine of ebay, for really cheap). the coolest thing is that its as good as the RAZR, and better, and its even smaller and thinner. im just obsessed with its design. the front mp3 control is pretty cool too. this phone may be expensive, but i guarantee u, its worth the money.
also there is a GSM version, and most carriers are switching to it anyway. also, the screen is a bit smaller than the razr, and the RAZR is a bit thinner but u can probably guess why...........
thanx
