On PalmOS for Treo 650 and 700p, if a phone call comes in, TomTom will allow the call to take over.
On WM5 for Treo 700w, if a phone call comes in, the call will be shown on a half screen, and TomTom will continue to run in the background. When you accept the call, TomTom will go full screen again and run in a muted state.
