The Boy Genius Report: Hands on with the Motorola RAZR xx

RAZR MAXX? V3x? RAZR XX? Be confused no more, Boy Genius has provided us with a detailed review of Motorola's V3xx.
The RAZR XX is not as pleasing to the eye as the V3i when closed -- it most closely resembles the V3, and the only real change is in the camera lens. I guess they had to think of something to do, seeing as this phone could have been designed and put together in a day or so. I say that because the internal hardware is nothing new either, except this version sports USA 3G bands on 850/1900MHz while also coming equipped with quad-band EDGE. The software build is the same as the new MAXX, with a more straight-forward media finder, and little bit better layout. Keypad is nice, size is nice, but Moto has definitely lost its cut with this one (extremely bad pun intended). Click on for more shots!

It doesn't just look like one, it is one. Perhaps Moto just stuffed the US 3G and quad band GSM radio into this phone? You can even read M702iS on the top of the Screen, DoCoMo on the back cover and FOMA under the screen.
I have a V3i and it looks much nicer than a standard V3, but the screen is so junky these days. At least this phone has a QVGA screen...
That IS the M702iS, and NOT the V3xx.
They do look nearly identical, but the keypad is not the same.
It's longer than the original RAZR, by the way.
hey guys the v3x is the shit just bought 3 of them 1 for me my mom and my cuz and 1 im going to get or ill end up getting a different phone dunno yet there sick a lil thicker 2.0 mp video conference transflash quad band..... its worthit i got it for 300 but its rare hard to find if any 1 in la wants1 400 im selling them black orange dark blue hot pink email me martin_hanania at yahoo dot com
