If I can edit documents on my six-year-old Palm, I should be able to edit them on a 2006 Windows SmartPhone.
To say it can't edit documents because it isn't designed to edit documents is circular reasoning at best. Something with that much dedicated space for a keyboard should be able to edit documents.
