the software update worked and so far i have had no problems that i am used to. seems to even be more responsive typing wise.
as for it not editing documents... it is kind of simple when you think about it.. regular phones cannot open or edit any kind of documents.. so a "Smartphone" will open documents and allow you to view them.. cause it is "Smart" now to edit documents on the go you are going to need a pda or a "pocketpc" logical really.
a pda and a pocketpc is to take the place of your pc.. you cannot put smartphone and palm/pocketpc on same level.
