If people actually buy this phone for that much they must be stupid or on drugs!lol If you read what they say with contract the phone is about $400 and when it comes to USA, which will be in a couple of months it will be about $200w/contract and I think that's a perfect price for this phone!

roy

Comments on MOTOKRZR goes retail in Hong Kong

this has to be the fastest product announcement to launch ever for motorola

Owen

Comments on MOTOKRZR goes retail in Hong Kong

If I were to buy one, I'd wait til the "new" wears off also. You know that it doesn't matter how bullet proof they test it, there will have to be a firmware upgrade.
Let the new users deal with that. Also, when I can afford it, I'd rather buy an unlocked one instead of a branded phone for a couple of reasons. Mainly, it seems that when the brand a phone, whatever software they stick on them to lock/brand them, screws up the phone (cingular W600i), not to mention they sometimes cripple the bluetooth "features" so you have to pay $$$ to use the wireless companies site.

Rusty

Comments on MOTOKRZR goes retail in Hong Kong

i'd rather keep my k790i, not many people have SEs in the states and I hate having the same phone as others...

wsjchoi

Comments on MOTOKRZR goes retail in Hong Kong

haha I was right, if you go to ebay now there selling the phone for about $500, man I bet people got really smart now, no more drugs lol Who would pay for around $1200 for the phone! lol Now, I bet with a carrier the phone is going to go for $150-$200 and also for the verizon/sprint version K1m around $150-200. That's my guess and I think I will be right again! :)

roy

Comments on MOTOKRZR goes retail in Hong Kong

I just got the KRZR off of e-bay for 430.00. I have only had the phone for a day, but I absolutely love it, I have been showing it off and everybody is very impressed. I like the slimmer form factor, the micro sd slot is a lot tighter than the v3i, and overall the phone feels very solid. This is one of the first phones that offers PTT and PVT. This phone might be more than just 200 with a contract, because the v3i just came out with Cingular for 299.00, however probably cheaper since the recent coming of the new razr for verizon probably around a 100.00.

Chase
