agreed, that should be a contract price. price without contract should hit around 250 - 350 USD?
i'm sort of waiting for these to drop in the states very soon.
Even if it is a contract price, that's not bad! I just paid around $100 for a 3 year old treo 600 and it is massive comparatively.
Why even wait for a stripped version when you can just get an E61?? I mean, you can get and E61 from ebay brand new all day long and then use it with your own carrier. I've been using an E61 with cingular for 6 months.

Uh, how about because the E61 costs 2 1/2 times more than the E62? For you non-math majors, that's a BIG difference. Some of us actually work for our money.

@5 ebay for the e61 and wait for the E62 the E62 just doesn't have WiFi so have fun with those pricy data charges and chunks of software missing.Im really thinkin about buying the E61 they are worth im just afraid to try symbian and all cuz i have a 7290 right now and really dont want anything else besides an E61 but Im also lookin at the E70 which is awesome as well but doesnt have the sweet form factor of the E61
