god that is so damn sexy! i still wanna see it from a side view to see exactly how much thinner it is compared to the 9800!
Is it me, or does the keyboard look like an exact replica of the sidekick keyboard? Ugly front as well. I was never a fan of the 9800, and so far am not fan of the 9900 either... but people seem to love their 9800s, so what do I know...
The main difference in form factors between the 9900 and 9800 - besides the 9900 being much slimmer - is the placement of the hinge on the 9900. It's on the back edge of the phone's side. That's not quite clear in the top picture, but this makes the phone much more comfortable to hold, since you can wrap your index fingers all the way around the keyboard for a good grip.
Although holding it that way really makes you wish they but shoulder button softkeys there.
Its just you....looks nothing like the sidekick keyboard.
The Jepardy "theme music" is playing in the background cause I have been waiting for the longest for this phone to come out already....Anyone got any specs on it out there? I hope you can use the speakerphone with the phone close cause you cant do that with the 9800..Oh well I guess we'll see....
Yeah Im thinkin of switching back to verizon and id pick this up till i can get my dream phone the Casio G'zOne Type R coming out for verizon soon.
It's about 40% smaller than the VX9800, or slightly larger than half the VX9800. It feels and looks much better than the VX9800.
WOW...I AM SO SIKED FOR THIS PHONE...BUT I DO HAVE A QUESTION..DOES ANYONE KNOW IF YOU WILL STILL ABLE TO PLAY YOUR OWN VIDEOS FROM YOUR COMPUTER ON THIS PHONE..THANK YOU IN ADVANCE...
since you're able to do it on the 9800 (after converting it at least to the format that escapes my mind right now), i don't see why they'd take that part out for the update

Alright, I went to buy a new phone yesterday which was the 24th, I knew the vx9900 was coming out sometime soon so I just decided to buy a new cheap phone and wait for the vx9900 to come out. The guy told me I should wait about a month for the new V2 (9900) that it will be appearing around thanksgiving. There you go guys, you finally have the information now just be patient and wait till it comes out.
