T-Mobile Dash pricing leaked, myFaves confirmed

We all know when T-Mobile is planning to release the Dash, now the only question is at what cost. Consider that base covered as well to our old pal Roc A Fella. The retail units started appearing at corporate stores last week (no chances of you getting one early so don't bother) and the pricing is pretty attractive for such a feature rich phone. More than likely it's becuase Tmo wants you to use it on myFaves.

• Full Retail $349.99
• One Year $299.99
• Two Year $249.99

Customers who are willing to sign both a one and (gulp!) two year commitment are eligable to get an additional $50.00 mail in rebate off this beauty. For some the 16th of October won't come soon enough.

T-Mobile is the only carrier I'm aware of that *will* unlock upon request. You've still got all their software to content w/ (myfavs, for instance). That's why I chose the Nokie E61, even w/o a camera.

I was lucky to see and play with this thing. Very small but very nice and powerful.The store clerk had one as the training demo and WOW O WOW. I cant wait until monday the 16th.

I think I'll stick with the 1 year commitment, but $300 still seems kind of steep for this device. I would've been happier with a $200 price point.

I also saw and played with this about a week ago @ a TMO store. The price is good because a Pearl is the same price. With the Dash, I get a full keyboard, wifi, and larger screen.

As most people have commented, the keyboard is awesome. Nice feel compared to the BB or Q. I am definitely getting one....

FYI,

MyFaves software is activated by TMO when you subscribe to a MyFave's plan. If you first buy a phone w/o the plan, the software doesn't show. When they activate a MyFave's account the software shows up. I'm not sure if the same software dissapears once MyFaves is no longer in use.

As for unlocking, TMO will give you an unlock code for any of their phones upon request. The only catch is that you must have been actively using the phone (i.e. subscribed for service) for at least three months.

TMO is great with stuff like this. I have used every carrier but Nextel and TMO is the only carrier that makes you feel like you are important to them...

With T-Mo's 3G coming out next year, why would anyone waste their upgrade on a data device that tops out on T-Mo's pitiful EDGE network?

Yeah this thing has a gank load of features but anything that runs Windows Mobile has pathetic battery life. I've used almost every phone/PDA possible. I'm still stickin with my BB 8700g. Don't have to charge this thing for 4 days!

Well I've had mine for about 2 weeks now and battery life is extremely stout, even with DirectPush turned on. I typically can squeeze 3 days out of it with DirectPush on, and 4-5 without.
