Motorola RAZR coming to Amp'd?
With all the CDMA RAZR love that seems to be going around these days, why not spread some over to the MVNO folks, too? That seems to be the thinking with Amp'd, anyway -- never mind the fact that the darned thing's K1m successor is out and about -- as an Amazon slideshow page for a T-Mobile branded V3 variant seems to reveal. Everything seems perfectly kosher right up until the second-to-last photograph, which curiously reveals "Amp'd Mobile" emblazoned across the back. Now, last time we checked, Amp'd was a CDMA MVNO and doesn't do much business with those crazy GSM T-Mobile types, so we're guessing some absentminded Amazon employee just put up the wrong pic. To be fair, the V3, V3i, V3c, and V3m are all barely distinguishable even to a trained eye -- but shouldn't the giant carrier logo silkscreened onto the phone be some sort of clue?

That is the gunmetal color of Verizon RAZR's, the network they borrow. But seriously, can motorola please come up with a new concept? RAZR, KRZR, RIZR, still tryin to cash in on the fad.
How about an updated Mpx220, Mpx400 perhaps?
I just saw an amp'd mobile commercial on tv that had the razr on it. It was on spike tv.
That isn't the Gunmetal RAZR from verzion because the one from verizo had silver interior. This HAS to be the Amp'd RAZR for the simply fact that group of phoos in Amazon all show a bugde around the camera whch is a V3m/V3c thing and the missing MENU button next to the soft keys are also a V3m/V3c thing. So all the pictures belong to the Amp'd RAZR in my opinion and amazon jumped the gun. ANd if you need more prove? http://www2.fanscape.com/contests/ampdmobile/q406/contest.html
Umm check there web site it has a RAZR on display lol
the amp'd web site i mean
The V3, V3c/m, and V3i are pretty easy to tell apart.
V3, the original.
V3c/m: Camera bulge, modified keypad, washed out colors.
v3i: Bigger external display surround, blue glowey Moto "M" on the outside, and modified keypad
yea, we got 6 AMP'd razr's in the office about 2 weeks ago. Same OEM as the other 2 AMP'd handsets, just that it's in a razr, no big deal.
I recently saw a commercial for Amp'd, and they had a V3 variant on the commercial.
Is this phone worth buying for a wife that isn't too tech savvy?
