Now before you start yelling service provider, I did alot of extensive testing side by side with my old Kyocera, and my wife's Raz'r. At home, in the car, in places where I had never had reception problems before, and still did'nt with the old phones, everyone was begging me to get rid of the thing, even my technologically challenged mom. Lo and behold, they asked for 30 minutes with the phone to do a "software upgrade" (can't be done over the air), and returned to me a perfectly working (no dropped calls, full signal strength) phone with an outstanding battery life. According to the tech, there were a few software settings that were hosed on these phones from the factory, and the update fixed them all.

I love this phone.
