I had no idea howmuch of a bastardization the verizon<br>customization was to their phones. I was able to play with it at an LG conference with this and the much-hyped 9900 (V2?). <br><br>Anyway, this phone does mirror the KRZR/A900 Samsung factor, but it's just way better than that. Its interface is easy to get around in, plethora of features (A2DP!++), and a sleek design. From a tech support and customer satisfaction standpoint, the VZW UI is brilliant. Does the UI have any impact on your ability to make a call? Does it have any impact on your ability to send a text message? No it does not. If you don't like it, dont' use it. It took a week but I love the new menu's, same on all the phones, easy to explain to mom/dad and 99% of my customers.  They make me look good because I know every option of every phone. It is better for Verizon, because the UI is consistent throughout all handsets, making their customer rep jobs easy and efficient.<br><br>However, a great UI design has aspects that can be appreciated. It's simplicity to use, makes it pleasurable to use. Blackberry is a prime example. Any UI is easy to use once you know how to use it. I am looking into the MP3 possibility as I do carry a seperat MP3 player on the road.
