I kept going back and forth using the 8600 and the KRZR to see the differences and I gotta give the edge to the 8600. It seems a tad thinner than the KRZR, it's overall about a tall, and it's width is more like a RAZR. The 8600 has a larger outer display screen and inside on the flip it's got a larger screen too. They seem about even for reception and signal (both pretty good) but I have had much better luck with LG's than Motorola's myself.

elgee02

Comments on LG VX8600 to hit Verizon Wireless shelves

CANT WAIT FOR THIS PHONE..................

Justin

Comments on LG VX8600 to hit Verizon Wireless shelves

well...i've had lg phones and i now have a baby pink razor by verizon and that has a few software issues, my biggest complaint(seems to be everybodies)is the battery charge time...doesn't hold out too long. I'm looking forward to seeing the Lg vx8600 and the lg vx9900. I hate the chocolate phone, heard too many complaints about how sensitive the touch keys are and losing calls when put to your face (hence touching on the face). I was going to purchase the LG-V, but worth waiting to see these two coming out...hopefully the release dates that are "rumored" are true :)

Shelli

Comments on LG VX8600 to hit Verizon Wireless shelves

How thick is this phone, as compared to the RAZR?

Dan

Comments on LG VX8600 to hit Verizon Wireless shelves

I've been a Verizon costumer for 2 years (I completed the 2yr contract at the beginning of Nov). I currently have an LGVX7000 and love it, but want to upgrade. I've had Motorola flips in the past and this LGVX7000 blew them away on the durability and screen appearance scale. Again, this is dating back prior to two years ago. I looked at the LG Chocolate slider a week ago but couldn't pull the trigger (and glad now!). Verizon got the LG VX8600 flip today! Bottom line is that I was instantly impressed and bought it today.

Ky

Comments on LG VX8600 to hit Verizon Wireless shelves

Dimensions:

8600 3.89h x 1.93w x .58d
RAZR 3.86h x 2.08w x .57d
KRZR 4.06h x 1.73w x .67d

Steve
