Motorola KRZR K1m goes live on Sprint

Sprint still hasn't quite learned the fine art of not getting shown up by CDMA rival Verizon for prompt releases of the hottest phones, partially on account of Verizon's tendency to lock up lucrative exclusivity agreements that last anywhere from a few months to life of the model (as is the case with the CDMA Chocolate). Fortunately, as foretold by our friends at Phone Scoop, Sprint's K1m comes relatively hot on the heels of Verizon's. Thanks to a different UI and color scheme, the Sprint variant barely resembles its stablemates and it'll be interesting to see whether customers ultimately do a better job warming up to it. The Sprint K1m can belong to anyone willing to part with $200 and sign on the dotted line -- or, as Sprint likes to say, $399.99 minus $200 in "instant savings."

With the hot black on black look, not to mention a much superior UI (Verizon's is the absolute worst), the Sprint K1m is the best of all the CDMA KRZRs.

I've got one ordered I hope to see tomorrow, and I also picked up two of the RAZRs.

Moto on Sprint is a good thing!

Wish this was the version that was out for Verizon instead of Sprint. The black looks a lot better than the gray of the Verizon version. Here's hoping Verizon will pick up this coloring.

I have to be honest, though I like the color scheme better, I can't say that Motorola's UI is any better than Verizon's. Motorola's is pretty damned bad.

About time sprint gets a sexy phone, until now I have only thought of getting one of those (ugly) a900's...

anyone know how well these work, i have heard alot of flak about motorola and their shotty razrs...
