TinyTube enables free YouTube search / playback on your mobile
If you're just not satisfied with simply uploading your zany videos to YouTube, and don't want to wait around until next year to get a cellular version (or don't have Verizon Wireless), you should point your cellphone's browser to TinyTube. While not accessible from a non-mobile device (it's just YouTube content, anyway), the site provides a scaled-down version of the original for quicker loading and less strain on your wee resources, and offers up "low, medium, and high" playback settings to cater to varying connection speeds. So if you're the type who finds elation in instant gratification, and enjoy the freer things in life, hit the read link (with your handheld, of course) and head on over.

Just for information, that picture was TinyTube operating on a PPC-6700.
Yes; works fine on my PPC-6700 as well.
Hey, it is working on my PC now too.
Doesn't work on my 700p, says " You appear to be using a non-mobile device, so links go to you tube directly."
Is there a way to overide this and get to the mobile link directly without the web overlord deciding I'm not on a mobile?
Works perfekt on my iPAQ h2210, with TCPMP :-)

Go to your browser settings, and make sure it's not set to act like IE6.0, but as PIE standard.
It worked great on my Nokia E62.
Nokia 770 is able to download the .3gp files, but says the file format is not supported. Too bad. Looks like they need to work on it a bit more if they want to support more devices.
Ignore my last post. Once downloaded, the file plays fine. It wouldn't allow streaming with the 770.
I have a website that lets you search youtube and google video and convert videos to 3gp or mp4 format to watch on your mobile phone or pc.
pc access - http://www.mymobileclips.com
mobile access - http://wap.mymobileclips.com
Great idea. It works on my N80
We created this site: www.GoToBogo.com for viewing video clips on cellphones, but its mostly geared to smartphones. Please give it a try and let me know if it works. Seems best on Treos. Our company got tired of not having decent YouTube-like content for smartphones, so we've been building this as a side project. Its still in beta.
