When I read stories about vendors "laughing" at a new product from monopolists like Microsoft or Apple - I think the end is near. Time and again I've read stories of people laughing at Microsoft's entry into their market and how there will be no ill effects.Largely these comments seem nothing more than stalling tactics while the commentor is frantically trying to sell the company.
