I myself am a happy owner of a N80.
The battery "problem" you're talking about is probably a lack of configuring.
At this moment my N80 holds out for about 2 to 3 days.
That's with constant 3G connection, regular use of it and regular use of the wifi/cam.
If I configure my N80 to constantly be looking out for a wlan, and don't set it to standby it tops out at 18 hours battery life or something.
So my guess is that you should've looked a bit further in the configuration of this phone, and remember it's not a 3120 with no options at all running more than a week if you allmost don't use it...
